This year has seen greater focus on coaching people with new or developing career aspirations.
The delivery of a comprehensive programme helping people to construct eye-catching CV's, prepare for and deliver a high impact interview and finally showing them how to appraoch the Job Market has been a real challenge.
We've helped people from all sectors, including the military and the 3rd sector, ensuring they know their own strengths and how they have and will continue to make a difference.

The venue for a half-day financial manager's conference for one of the leading global insurance companies. Programme design and delivery using a team of 3 trainers featured as part of a 2 day conference with a Leadership focus.
Delegates from different countries mixed together in both small and a larger group to discuss, present and then experience a real Leadership activity, all in the space of an afternoon. Fantastic fun and some strong messages to take away!
It was a pleasure to return to Ashridge Management College to be part of and then deliver a workshop session to around 100 managers responsible for the development and winning of new business.
The focus was on Changing Peoples Minds" no mean task when there are many pressures facing the hard working and commited team player in a dynamic and busy environment.
A very busy 3 month period heavily focused on the Financial Sector
Rolling out a company wide Presentation Skills programme is becoming more relevant in the quest to secure new business under current market conditions.
It's also good to work hard with an organisation who are happy be criticised in their preparation and live rehearsals for major new business pitches, particularly when the win ratio increases from 1 in 7 to "1 in 3".
The blend of real personalities delivering an incrementally closing presentation provides the confidence and commitment. In turn, this makes make the listening audience take both the message and the company delivering it, very seriously.
Oh, it's also great fun delivering it!
Customer Service is often "bandied about" by all and sundry but sometimes never really takes hold. Employees are just too busy to recognise it's full impact.
Not so with one Education sector company we are working with, looking to develop already good relationships with their current and prospective clients.
The backbone of the programme we deliivered was "Continual Improvement" and the full consideration of both Explicit and Implicit customer expectations.
What a session we had and there are now some good ideas ready to be explored within the business. Thanks Guys for the commitment!
When your winning bid ratio is running low and has been doing so for quite a while someone has to stand up and be counted.
We are currently working with a Finance Sector based organisation who have realised they must make a radical culture change to embrace a more "commercial" approach to future business.
The project has only just begun, so watch this space for future developments!
July is proving to be both challenging and very busy.
Peter has just help facilitate a two-day session for the R & D Division of an instrument testing organisation as they look to impact in a more positive way on the rest of their organisation as well as each other.
Empowerment and Delegation were the watch words here with some core Communication Skills thrown into the mix. Very challenging but also working with a loyal and devoted team.
A recent open course looked at the "Manager versus Leader" debate when 2 days were used to hone the skills of the Manager in this current business climate.
Delegate feedback was clear that all participants were much clearer on what they needed to do to enhance their current management style.
July has seen Peter running a range of programmes in the Travel, Education and Charity sectors.
Peter is now also being used to provide specific bid support for an aspiring organisation within the financial sector. Having delivered wider Presentation Skills development training he is now working on specific projects to fine-tune their face-to-face pitches. One particular session was held before this particular client won a significant piece of business. It's great when you get a result!!
Its been a busy year so far with forays into the worlds of Music, Office Equipment, Education, Shipping and Golf. However, all with a Management Training Twist.
January 2012 - Peter delivered a "well-received" presentation on the need for powerful and focused presentations to 70 key account personnel holding an "awayday" at this prestigious location.
He was a guest speaker as this financial services organisation look to up their profile in their rapidly developing market-place.
"Off to the USA"
December 2011 sees Peter headed to the States for more Management Development Training. Previous work in Telcoms and with Post-Graduate American Interns has stood him in good stead for this next sojourn.
Roll on 2012 and more work in the Middle East
